It's been a busy couple of weeks since the last post but rest assured it has been frantic on the making front. I discovered a new passion, embroidery. I began by making it up and then watched a useful video on
Etsy labs that showed four stitches and I was up and running.
Here are a few samples, I'm so excited to incorporate the technique into new plushies.

In addition I've been making a selection of cloud pillows as well as a sun but it looks more like an egg when not placed near a cloud. I embroidered a rainbow on the back of the rain cloud but forgot to take a picture. That's it for now, short and sweet.
Hello, discovered you in the list of vendors at Renegade Craft Fair London (sadly I can't be there) & I love your work!
ReplyDeleteI am just about to start trying some embroidery myself. I LOVE your embroidered owl (and the tea-t'owl too!)
Thank you. Have fun with your embroidery projects, perfect for chilly nights in. In a newer post I blogged about a book I found called Needlework by Reader's Digest if you can get your hands on a copy you will have all the stitch instructions you need.
